DDay

What a clever cat she is. She's done it all by herself, and needed no help whatsoever.
At lunchtime, she was so friendly, rollin on my lap and wanting a lot of fuss. But she wasn't eating that much, and was up and down, checking in the corners, going into her box.
I worked in the afternoon (I work from home), and checked on her later. She had produced two kittens, so I sat quietly in the room, just there in case she needed anyting. She had ignored my wonderful box, that took me two hours to make, and had given birth in the hooded litter tray.
She suddenly ran out of the pen, came up and miaowed loudly at me with her paw on my leg, then ran back in. So I went to peep in and she rolled over to show me three kittens. An hour or two later and there were more. I couldn't see how many and didn't want to disturb her. Later I found there were six.
She was very good, no mess, no trouble, and settled down to feed them.
I had a couple of those tiny tins of rather posh cat food saved for her, and gave her those, which she loved. Then she settled down for the night.
